Amrit Deol

Amrit Deol is an NIS certified clinical nutritionist based in Chandigarh, India, who provides online Indian diet plans for weight loss, diabetes, PCOS and thyroid to clients in India, Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia and the UAE.

He is a nutritionist associated with the Punjab Cricket Association, was featured as a Titan of Punjab by 94.3 MY FM in 2026, and reaches more than 650,000 people on Instagram and 22 million views on YouTube.

The story

Common sense, measured.

Amrit Deol trained in Food and Nutrition at the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports in Patiala, the institute that prepares India’s athletes and coaches. What he took from it was not a list of forbidden foods but a way of measuring: how much, how often, and for whom.

With fad diets and food fears everywhere, his advice cuts the other way. Keep the roti. Keep the ghee, in the right amount. Eat what your family eats, planned so that your blood sugar, your hormones and your weight move in the direction you want. It is a method that has carried Punjab’s cricketers through a season and singers through a tour, and it is the same method a grandmother in Brampton follows for her diabetes.

A second degree, in mass communication from Panjab University, explains the rest: a plan is only useful if you understand it. Every client leaves knowing why, not just what.

“Health should never come at the cost of happiness.”

Scope and method

What the practice does, and does not do.

The full statement of scope, evidence standards, medical boundaries, fees and feedback is on the standards page.

Scope of practice

Nutrition assessment, personalised diet plans and follow-up coaching for weight, type 2 diabetes and prediabetes, PCOS, thyroid, cholesterol and blood pressure, fatty liver, sport, and pregnancy and postpartum. No diagnosis, no prescriptions, no supplements sold.

How a plan is built

A free first consultation covers history, reports, eating pattern and goals. The plan keeps roti, dal, sabzi and rice on the plate and changes portions, combinations and timing. Twelve-week programmes, extendable, with WhatsApp follow-up between reviews.

Medical boundaries

Plans work alongside a doctor’s treatment, never instead of it. Medication is changed only by the treating physician, and warning signs are referred, not dieted.

Evidence and dates

Condition pages list the primary sources behind their claims, every content page shows a last-updated date, and the Google rating is shown with the date it was checked.
