Scope of practice
Amrit Deol is an NIS certified clinical nutritionist and dietitian (B.Sc. Food and Nutrition, Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala). The practice provides nutrition assessment, personalised diet plans and follow-up coaching for weight management, type 2 diabetes and prediabetes, PCOS, thyroid, cholesterol and blood pressure, fatty liver, sports performance, and pregnancy and postpartum nutrition.
The practice does not diagnose disease, prescribe or adjust medication, or replace the care of a physician. Clients with a medical condition are asked to keep their doctor informed, and plans are written to work alongside prescribed treatment.
How a plan is built
- Free first consultation. Health history, current eating pattern, recent reports, lifestyle and goals, in clinic or on a video call, in English, Hindi or Punjabi.
- A personalised plan around home food. Roti, dal, sabzi, rice and dairy stay on the plate; portions, combinations and timing change. No supplements or procedures are sold. Programmes typically run twelve weeks and can be extended.
- Follow-up. Progress is reviewed against your goals and, where relevant, your blood reports. Between consultations the clinic team answers questions on WhatsApp.
- Occasions and travel. Plans include alternatives for festivals, weddings, work travel and eating out, because a plan you cannot live with is not a plan.
Evidence and review standards
Condition pages carry a “Sources” list of primary references, such as clinical guidelines and systematic reviews, behind the statements they make, and every content page shows a visible last-updated date. Where the evidence is uncertain, the page says so rather than promising an outcome.
Pages are written and reviewed by Amrit Deol. Results described in client stories are individual and are published with the client’s consent; they are examples, not guarantees. Figures such as the Google rating and review count are read from Google and shown with the date they were checked.
If you find a statement that is out of date or unsupported, write to info@amritdeol.com and it will be corrected or sourced.
Medical boundaries
- Changes to medication, including diabetes, thyroid and blood pressure medicines, are made only by your doctor.
- Symptoms that need a physician, such as very high blood sugar, chest pain, sudden weight loss or pregnancy complications, are referred rather than treated with diet.
- Children, pregnant clients and clients with kidney or liver disease are planned for conservatively and in coordination with their treating doctor.
Reviews and feedback
Reviews are collected on Google, where they are public and not filtered by the clinic; the reviews page shows the live rating and the latest reviews. Concerns about a plan, a payment or the service can be raised by phone at +91 74400 47000, by WhatsApp or by email, and receive a reply within one working day.
Fees, cancellations and refunds
The first consultation is free. Programme fees depend on the condition and duration and are quoted in writing before you commit. Cancellation and refund terms are published on the refund policy page, and data handling on the privacy policy page.
